There are many in the business world believe that any publicity including negative publicity is good for the company

Crisis conditions are brought on by numerous causes. For every crisis, the experts have a different opinion as to how it should best be resolved. Two things are certain. Crises will continue to occur, and experts will continue to take different approaches to solving them

when the organization have negative publicity which can turning the negative into the positive.

If you have some negative publicity.  You can defend yourself through a press release or interview if it’s something that’s attracted major media attention, or simply take to your blog or forum if the publicity seems to be centered on social media sites.

Once you’ve started to quell the flames, it’s time to rebuild your image and get the public to forget. Eventually, a new scandal or interesting story will emerge that makes your bad publicity old news. Once that happens, focus on progressing and preventing negative publicity in the future. Turning the negative into the positive.
